Light Pollution is a four-piece psychedelic rock band from Chicago. The band's main songwriter and vocalist, James Cicero, formed Light Pollution after dropping out of college because he couldn't stop writing songs in class. After recruiting friends to join him in his pursuits, Light Pollution was born and the group began making songs drenched in reverb and vocal harmonies, with driving bass lines and drums that beat out dancing rhythms, all of which is showcased on the band's debut 2010 album Apparitions.
