Junk Culture, born Deepak Mantena in Oxford, Mississippi must have really loved it when his CD player started skipping, because he found a way to turn that sound into incredible electronic music. The producer plays real drums over the heavily looped electro, allowing the tracks to maintain a hypnotically rhythmic quality, but mixes up the loops enough to create a truly dynamic song.
