Hurtbird is an experimental hip-hop band from Portland with members that pride themselves on making music that consistently brings audiences an interesting take on one of the world's most popular genres. Given the extent to which the band mixes and mashes up some of the greatest musical influences of their generation into virtually "genreless" music that retains a strong, beat driven poetic drive, many believe that Hurtbird has much to offer the music world, while others continue to scratch their heads in an effort to figure out what Hurtbird is all about.
