Gowry Lekshmi is an Indian composer, singer, songwriter, and music producer from Cherthala, Kerala, born on August 2, 1993. A prodigy, she began her musical career at the age of 13 when she composed the song "Sakhiye" for the Malayalam film Casanovva (2012), making her the youngest music composer in India. Gowry pursued formal education in music, earning a BA and MA from RLV College of Music and Fine Arts and Kerala University. She debuted as a playback singer in Ezhu Sundara Rathrikal and gained recognition for her song "Aaro Nenjil" in Godha (2017). She has since composed and sung for several Malayalam and Tamil films. Gowry also ventured into independent music with her debut single "Thoni" in 2015. Her discography includes albums like Valiyaperunnal (2019) and Mojo Sessions Live (2015), and she continues to contribute to the Malayalam and Tamil music industries as a versatile artist.
