Will Downing's soulfully smooth voice has made him a mainstay in the R&B world. He released his self-titled debut in 1988 and has successfully grown with the times, while still remaining true to his genre. After being diagnosed with Polymyositis in 2006, Downing was confined to a wheel chair, and though singing has become more difficult for him, the New York native continues to perform his smooth R&B around the world.
