Hamburg, Germany-based DJ, producer and founder of the record label Mirau Musik, Marco Niemerski has kept busy since first emerging on the European electro scene in 2006. Since then, he has made a name for himself under the moniker Tensnake, a project that combines Top 40 style pop with highly danceable house music. While Tensnake is often accused of being stuck in the genres of the past, unable to mature its music in a rapidly evolving scene, the music it creates can certainly pack a dance floor, thus allowing the producer to DJ across Europe and the US.
