Signed to Red House Records in 2007, the Iowa duo of David Huckfelt and Benson Ramsey, known as The Pines, create dark indie-folk/blues songs. Receiving tremendous accolades after the release of its debut album, The Pines feature crystal clear vocals cutting through reverb drenched acoustic slide-guitars, all set in motion by shuffling drums. With a steadily growing fan base in the US, the duo tours fairly regularly.
