The European Saxophone Ensembles features twelve young saxophonists from various countries and cities in the European Union. The ensemble was founded in 2008 and has had original compositions written for it by famous composers, a feat that is extremely challenging due to the nature of the instrument. Covering the gamut from contemporary classical to avant-garde jazz, The European Saxophone Ensemble can be counted on to create some extremely pertinent and instrumentally dense music.
