Since beginning her music career in 1997, as the lead singer of the indie band Theaudience, Ellis-Bextor's popularity soared and she embarked on her first major tour in 2000. Over the course of the following decade, Sophie Ellis-Bextor would release four studio albums that showcase her talents in synthesizing disco and electropop into a unique style of music that would go on experience widespread success throughout the world.
