The Builders and the Butchers is a folk rock band based out of Portland, Oregon that was founded in 2005. Blending a number of styles including Americana, blues, vintage folk and modern alternative rock into a cohesive sonic aesthetic, the band has managed to arrive at a unique sound that has helped win them over fans. Since releasing its self-titled debut LP in 2007, The Builders and the Butchers has maintained a fairly prolific recording schedule.
