Black Jonas Point, born Jonás Joaquín Ortiz Alberto in 1989, is a Dominican rapper, songwriter, and producer from Santo Domingo. He gained international recognition after co-writing and performing on Pitbull's hit song "Watagatapitusberry," which climbed to number 30 on the US Billboard Latin Songs chart and number 13 on the Billboard Tropical Songs chart. This marked a breakthrough in his career, establishing him in the urban music scene. In 2010, Ortiz performed at the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City, further boosting his visibility. Over the years, he has released numerous singles, including "La Bebe" (2020) and "Culeteo" (2018). His mixtape Te Dio Pa Eso (2010) and albums like No¹ Un Negro (2019) and Lo Mejor del Negro (2012) have cemented his place in Latin music.
