Hazel Brugger

Hazel Brugger is a cabaret artist, slam poet and an author. She grew up in Dielsdorf, Zurich where she first began performing at poetry slams. She continued to pursue it as her career and also worked as a columnist for multiple magazines. Having immense writing and theater experience under her belt helped her in creating her own cabaret show- Hazel Brugger happened, which she wrote and performed by herself. It received positive reviews from audiences and helped her established herself and as a comedian. Brugger's dream of becoming a successful poetry slammer was achieved after she won the “Swiss Master” title at a popular championship. German Comedy Award and Salzburg Bull are some of the awards and recognitions that she has won for her work. After the release of her second solo show, the Tropical, Brugger became a known name across the theater circuits of many German-speaking countries.
