Mahsun Kırmızıgül, born Abdullah Bazencir, is a prominent Turkish singer-songwriter, actor, director, and music producer of Kurdish Zaza descent. Starting his music career in the 1980s, Kırmızıgül gained fame with his professional debut album Alem Buysa Kral Sensin in 1993, reaching the top of the music charts. He later became a partner at Prestij Müzik, a leading music production company in Turkey. Expanding his career to film, he wrote, directed, and acted in several acclaimed movies, including Beyaz Melek (2007), Güneşi Gördüm (2009), and New York'ta Beş Minare (2010). Kırmızıgül has won multiple awards, including Kral TV Music Awards and Hürriyet Altın Kelebek, solidifying his place in Turkish entertainment. His discography includes albums like Yıkılmadım (1998) and Hoş Geldin (2022), showcasing his versatility in music and film throughout his enduring career.
