Virginia born violinist Hilary Hahn began studying her instrument of choice at age 10 and by the age of 16 had an exclusive contract with Sony Music. After her contract ended, she signed with the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon, right after being named "America's Best Young Classical Musician" by Time Magazine in 2001. Known particularly for her interpretations of Bach, Hahn has managed to garner more than just standard classical music fans, by appearing on talk shows such as The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. Internationally acclaimed, Hahn tours and performs worldwide.
