Melhem Zain is a distinguished Lebanese singer known for his powerful voice and emotive performances. His career took off with a notable appearance on the Lebanese talent show Kaas Al Nojoum, where he performed Mohammed Abd El Wahhab’s "Ya Jarat Al Wadi". Zain gained widespread acclaim as a finalist in the first season of Super Star, the Pan-Arab version of Pop Idol.
