Massachusetts five-piece A Rocket to the Moon formed in 2006, quickly gaining prominence amongst high school locals. After performing one of its emo-pop hits on MTV's Total Request Live a year later, the band was sought after by the label Fueled by Ramon, which the band immediately signed to, much to the dismay of Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, who tried to convince the band to join his label. After the record contract was signed, the group jumped on the Vans Warped Tour, played the Bamboozle Festival and joined Hot Topic's Take Action Tour. With a multitude of sponsors to its name and a perfectly polished image, A Rocket to the Moon continues to find success amongst tweens and teens alike.
