At age nine, Rick Price began his career as a part of his family's band. From these modest roots, Price earned international repute as a singer/songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist over the next few decades. His debut album, Heaven Knows, was released in 1992 and its title track won the APRA Song Of The Year award. By interweaving music of different genres with varied influences, Price has created a style of music that is constantly evolving. Apart from working on his own music, Price has written and produced for other prominent artists, and has also toured the world, playing at music festivals such as the Sydney Blues Festival and the Guthrie Green Festival. Spanning blues, rock, pop, country and gospel, Rick Price's music appeals to a wide audience.
