British singer/songwriter Chris Schermer plays primarily acoustic guitar in a finger-picking style and also performs with his band Chris Schermer & the Fonk. Schermer's music is reminiscent of the beach-side acoustic flavors of Jack Johnson but tends toward a sound more reflective of roots reggae's familiar structure. Schermer lives in a renovated ice cream truck with his dog, surf board, and instruments. Albums include Behind the Shades and Songs From the Cellar.
