The London duo Babeshadow, formed by songwriters Tom and Dave Shadow, creates catchy songs based around Afro-pop guitar riffs, similar to those created by contemporaries Vampire Weekend. The duo draws most of its musical and fashion inspiration from Marc Bolan (of T-Rex) and David Bowie, which is evident in the drama of Babeshadow's live performances.
