Anne Paceo

Anne Paceo is one of the few female French jazz drummers in the world. Paceo performs in various projects, many of which she leads. Her group Triphase (Three Phase) has so far released two records, a self-titled album and Empreintes. In 2010 Paceo was asked to be lead drummer in the European Jazz Orchestra after spending most of her career as a sidewoman to numerous trios and quintets. Though Paceo's musical influences range significantly, she has taken particular interest in jazz styles from Brazil and Africa, crafting the majority of her original material for her trio Triphase.
