Dream pop duo Asobi Seksu, which translates to casual sex, formed in Brooklyn in 2001 by Yuki Chikudate and James Hanna. Combining Hanna's hazy guitars and Chikudate's cutesy vocals has proven fruitful for the band, which has become an indie favorite, has been featured on multiple television shows and has contributed scores for the films of So Yong Kim.
