DJ and producer Hugo Manuel, who goes by the moniker Chad Valley, has an infatuation with 1980s synths and smooth 1970s disco. However, he very much is a musician of the 21st Century and thus meshes these infatuations with modern electronica production. The result is icy electro pop with shimmering samples and glitched-out beats, essentially what chillwave would sound like if it were to be transported back to the era of disco nights. Chad Valley already has a devout group of fans in the UK and is slowly spreading his beats throughout the US and Europe
