How many bands are there who draw inspiration from video games? Whatever the number is, the Swedish band Twilight Force is easily one of the top names. Its members were long time fans of the role-playing genre of games, this coupled with their passion for music resulted in the creation of Twilight Force. The themes of its music are based on “The Twilight Kingdoms,” which is a fictional world created by the band itself. It debuted with the album Tales of Ancient Prophecies in 2014. It is a collection of thoroughly enjoyable power metal which revolved around an interesting subject matter. The album received many accolades from listeners and critics, and also found a place for itself on the music charts.
