Disappears

Formed by Brian Case, front man to popular indie rock outfit The Ponys, Disappears initially acted a side project for Case to explore a hazy noise rock sound. After recruiting three friends, all from other Chicago rock bands, Disappears began recording 7" singles that oozed lo-fi sludge in 2009. The band signed to Kranky Records shortly after and played at many prominent festivals the following year.
