The Black Rainbows is a garage rock band from Toronto, Canada that focuses more on producing pure Dionysian energy with its music than achieving some vague ideal of technical perfection. Drawing influences from the more legendary acts in the long, and somewhat turgid history of garage rock and proto-punk, The Black Rainbows claim to have something new and exciting to bring to the table, even if it is just successfully setting itself apart from the indie milieu.
