Sophisticated Ladies is a multi-award-winning revue based on the evergreen music of Duke Ellington. It first premiered in March 1981, at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. It features a set design which is symbolic of the vintage jazz clubs and an exuberant choreography which livens up the stage. Duke Ellington has a distinctive discography studded with marvelous songs. Many of those tracks like "In a Sentimental Mood," "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" and "Sophisticated Lady" are a part of this revue.
