Roe

About

Roe is based on one of US's most controversial rulings, Roe v. Wade. In 1969, a certain Norma McCorvey, also known as Jane Roe, wanted to abort her kid. Her only problem was that she lived in the state of Texas where abortion was an illegal act. The play follows Roe or rather her two lawyers, Sarah Weddington and Linda Coffee, as they challenge the state and fight the abortion precedent.
