Set in the post-war era, Call Me Madam is a satirical look at the America decision of lending money to countries in need. But this is a story about an aristocratic widow- Sally Adams, who gets appointed as the ambassador of Lichtenburg, a country in Europe. While she goes about her duties, she also manages to find love in the form of Cosmo Constantine, a European government official. This musical offers a unique story line and is stuffed with topical humor and songs which stick with you for a long time.
