French electroclash duo Sexy Sushi was formed by Rebeka Warrior and Mitch Silver in 2004. Utilizing cheesy synth and sporting bizarre and often grotesque costumes on stage, the duo primarily relies on shock factor to draw crowds into its French-language electro. Initially releasing its recordings as burned CD-Rs at underground club shows, Sexy Sushi has since signed to Scandale Records and has a respectable following spanning much of Europe that appreciates the sleaze and cheese the duo offers up.
