American record producer and DJ Jason Ross initially trained as a classical and jazz musician before discovering electronic music at the age of 12. He started his first residency at a club in San Diego while in college and released remixes for numerous record labels. His 2013 debut single "Nightfall" caught the attention of British electronic group Above & Beyond, who signed him to its label Anjunabeats in 2014. Ross was called Anjuna's breakthrough DJ of the year in a DJMag interview. He has collaborated with fellow artists such as Sunny Lax and has played alongside powerhouses like Avicii, Tiesto and Markus Schulz. His collaboration "Atlas" with Wrechiski topped Beatport's trance music chart in 2015.
