Sea Wall / A Life brings together Alex and Abe in side-by-side monologues about the joys and sorrows of life. The monologues bring to light Alex's and Abe's struggles with fatherhood, the beauty of first love, memories of their years gone by and all other sweet and bitter things that constitute life. Taking place on the same stage, this piece of work merges two plays, with the only two characters separated by a wall. This engaging plot, along with the wall, establishes how we as humans are banded together in the isolation that life provides us with. Having already played to amazed-audiences in the UK, Sea Wall / A Life debuted on Broadway's Hudson Theater with Jake Gyllenhaal And Tom Sturridge in the lead roles.
