About
Barbara Thalheim started her singing career with the Chansongruppe Berlin. Born in 1947 in Leipzig, Thalheim completed her music education from "Hanns Eisler" Music Academy under the tutelage of Wolfram Heicking. Beginning in 1977 she toured solo across Germany as well as abroad. She has had long-running partnerships with accomplished artists like Fritz-Jochen Kopka, Jean Pacalet and Michael Wüstefeld. She has toured with the likes of the rock band Pankow. Thalheim has the LPs Was fang ich mit mir an, Und keiner sagt: ich liebe dich, Von der Westlichkeit der Welt and Lebenslauf among others to her credit.
