FC Karpaty Lviv is a football club from the city of Lviv, Ukraine that was formed in 1963. It is a competitor in the Ukrainian Second League and plays its home fixtures at the Ukraina Stadium. It shares an intense rivalry with FC Volyn Lutsk and this fixture is commonly known as the Galician-Volhynian Derby. Honors won by the club include the Soviet Cup, Soviet First League. It has also clinched the runner-up spot in the Ukrainian Cup in 1993 & 1999 and the Ukrainian First League in 2004-05.
