About
Since its debut in 2015, Newark, DE-based Year of the Knife has carved a niche for itself through its uncompromising, metalcore sound. This quintet, comprising Tyler Mullen, Brandon Watkins, Madison Watkins, and brothers Andrew and Aaron Kisielewski, released its debut EP Overgrowth in 2016. Its second EP First State of Aggression, released in 2018, was noticed by Pure Noise Records, to which the band subsequently signed. Its first full-length album Ultimate Aggression was issued in 2019.
