Based in Güzelyalı, Göztepe S.K. is a football club that competes in the Turkish Süper Lig. Formed in 1925, the club is known fondly as “Göz Göz” and plays its home games at the Gürsel Aksel Stadium. The club has several titles to its credit including the Turkish Football Championship, Turkish Cup and is the first Turkish club to reach the semi-finals of a Major European Football Tournament. Bülent Uygun, Cameron Jerome and Demba Ba are a few notable alumni to have featured in the club’s roster.
