The Russian football club, FC Yenisey Krasnoyarsk, became a part of the game in 1937. It is based in the city of Krasnoyarsk and it competes in the Russian Football National League. The club was originally formed as Lokomotiv Krasnoyarsk and was renamed several times until it donned its current name in 2011. Many high-performing players such as Nikita Chernov, Barsegh Kirakosyan and Almir Mukhutdinov have been a part of its fleet. The club hosts its games at the Central Stadium.
