Ira Marlowe has a highly prolific and impressively diverse career. After studying film and creative writing in San Francisco, Marlowe began writing folksy prog-rock and playing his tunes at various cafes, eventually winning multiple Bay Area awards for his work. The singer/songwriter also forayed into children's music and won the highly prestigious "Parents' Choice Award" in 2006. Still not satisfied, Marlowe wrote a play, which was produced in New York, hosted a one-man multimedia show and he teaches a creative writing workshop in his spare time.
