Sarpsborg 08 Fotballforening, often referred to as Sarpsborg, is a football club from Norway that competes in the Eliteserien. Based in Sarpsborg, the club schedules its home fixtures at the Sarpsborg Stadion. Founded in 2008, the club first achieved promotion to the Tippeligaen in 2010 and achieved its major success in 2018 when it progressed to the group stages of the UEFA Europa League for the first time. It has also had a major presence in the Norwegian Cup, having reached the final two times in its history.
