This award-winning Broadway musical is based upon the satirical self-help manual of the same name written by Shepherd Mead. Although the musical deviates from the book in terms of story and plot, it does draw significantly from the book's material and the life of the author himself. How to Succeed was revived to much critical acclaim in 1995 after ending its long run on Broadway in the 1960s.
