Pursuing a dense pop sound with occasional orchestral flourishes and punchy, hook-layden choruses with atavistic tendencies, the German bands Leonids has managed to establish itself as one of the more capable outfits on the modern German music scene. Founded in 2015 the group spent its formative years on the German live circuit until it found its footing with its characteristic pop-leaning alternative rock sound and released its self-titled debut album in 2017.
