Calling its music "the soundtrack to the Apocalypse," Swedish five-piece By Night formed in 1999 and quickly became known for its political lyrics, technical guitar work and death metal style that were well received by the underground hardcore scene. Though the group has suffered multiple lineup changes and didn't land a record deal until late in its career, By Night continues to maintain its anarcho-hardcore mindset and continues to tour throughout Europe.
