The Hu is a band from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia that blends elements of modern heavy metal with traditional Mongolian folk instrumentation and Mongolian throat singing to create a unique style of music. After releasing its debut album, Gereg, in 2019, an LP the band worked on for seven years, The Hu managed to distinguish itself as a band that's willing to look towards its cultural roots in order to achieve its artistic endgame.
