Garmarna is a Swedish folk-rock band that draws much of its song repertoire from Scandinavian folk ballads. Bringing these ballads up-to-date through performing them in the context of folk-rock, the members of Garmarna have garnered much acclaim for their special brand of folk-rock that has since unearthed and popularized many old folk ballads that may have faded into obscurity without them.
