Fatal Smile came about during the hard rock/heavy metal renaissance Sweden experienced during the mid-nineties and the band has continued its meteoric rise to fame ever since. Although the band is not afraid to admit to the hard rock influences that have helped to define its sound, Fatal Smile believes that its music "takes rock in new directions whilst always having one eye on home."
