Evergrey is a progressive metal band from Sweden that built a name for itself with its 1998 debut album Dark Discovery, which, as the title suggests, deals with the more unpleasant aspects of worldly existence. Having released several albums since its debut, the band continues to tour successfully with its special brand of metal that isn't afraid to communicate the darker side of life through its music.
