Dick Whittington is a contemporary pantomime that draws inspiration from the 17th Century English character of the same name. Based on the classic pantomime, Dick Whittington and His Cat, which in turn is based upon the life of the medieval merchant and politician Richard Whittington, the production is firmly rooted in British culture.
