About
Set in Sweden at the dawn of the 20th Century, A Little Night Music follows the romantic lives of several couples intertwined through their families and pasts. They are brought together for a party at a country estate wherein many of their private dramas, romantic secrets and interconnections come to light. As they discover their true feelings for one another, the characters in the play delve through their conflicts and emerge with a refreshed sense of what they want out of love. The charming, romantic and beautiful reflection on the utterly mysterious nature of love features music and lyrics by the unparalleled Stephen Sondheim and a book by Hugh Wheeler.
