The Colorado Rapids is a professional soccer team that competes in the Western Division of Major League Soccer. Founded in 1996 as one of MLS's ten original charter teams, the Rapids played at Mile High Stadium until 2007, when it moved to Dick's Sporting Goods Park in the Denver suburb of Commerce City. Having won its first MLS Cup in 2010, the team has established itself as a formidable team that's capable of taking on any other club in the league.
