One of the longest running shows on Broadway, A Chorus Line follows the audition of Broadway dancers vying for a spot on a chorus line. As the show unwinds the stories of 17 dancers aching to fulfill their dreams by being cast in the production of a successful Broadway director, their individual motivations, fears, complexities and ultimately, passion come to light as each explains what made he or she pursue a life as a dancer. The interwoven stories offer a glimpse of the trials, rejection and desperation of a life in show business. With renowned choreography and musical numbers, this world-wide hit won nine of its 12 Tony nominations as well as the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
