German band ZPYZ creates electronic-heavy rock anthems that get as much use out of synthesizers as they do guitars. Some tracks sparsely float by on little more than blips, beeps and vocals, while others erupt into U2-inspired, fist-pumping radio rock. The band is at its best when it combines the two into trippy, danceable tracks.
